Trapped in labour limbo

Ordinary Bermudians are caught in the middle of an immigration cycle that keeps wages low and rents high, a Bermuda Sun Labour Day report shows. International business has brought thousands of well-paid ‘money-no-object’ renters, often buoyed by large housing allowance payments, keeping rents among the highest in the world.
